With scattered arrays filtered noise raining static like a post apocalyptic downpour, “Peacock” shreds an ostentatious melody over the booming muffled bass of a nuclear explosion in the distance.
The ensnaring tribal percussion lines rolling over the industrial drums wind and weave the mind with an addictive nocturne. “Hymn to Hypnos” brings a dramatic interplay of repetition and variation to leave it’s subject wondering what it was that took control.
